Site Agent

A Civil engineering Site Agent is required to work on a freelance/contract basis on a highways project in Sussex.

We are recruiting for an established Highways contractor, they require a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent to manage a project in East Sussex. The company have a number of schemes and these range in value from £400k to £3m and the Site Agent will be responsible for one of these schemes.

The works are predominantly drainage packages, the company will self-deliver the works on behalf of a main contractor.

To be considered for a Site Agent position you must have demonstrable experience of working within the highways/civils sector on projects from inception to completion with the ability to plan and deliver the works on site.

Therefore, the Site Agent must have experience of planning and scoping works on site, writing RAMs, daily permits, liaison with Traffic management, dealing with the client, H&S and full site co ordination to drive the project on.

The company are an established sub contractor working across highways, rail, construction, nuclear and general civil engineering works.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Required to have highways experience, SMSTS, CSCS, First aid and a proven background in carrying out this role previously.

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
