Fawkes & Reece South Looking for Senior BIM Technician at Slough, Berkshire Full Time

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a Main Contractor who are seeking a Senior BIM Technician to join one of their busy design teams to help successfully deliver on a range of projects. They work in collaboration with various private clients to deliver a range of large civil and buildings.

As a Senior BIM Technician, your role will be to develop, lead and manage the production of designs. This will involve incorporating any outsourced design by Design Consultancies and Sub-contractors throughout the design phase of any project. This is a developmental role towards a BIM Manager position.

You will be involved in (but not limited to):

• Participate in creating a knowingly safe working environment on assigned projects and act as the key contact for the Business Unit’s key BIM technical requirements
• Respond to the Clients technical requirements, develop the outline BEP into a Master Information Delivery Plan and lead project BIM workshops
• Clash detection/policing role using Revit, BIM360, ReCap Pro, Dalux or other tools
• Development of asset data (plant schedules and specialist equipment etc
• Checking and compliance with Client’s EIR to ensure design compliance working with site teams using alternative approaches relating to time (4D)and commercial (5D)

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Atleast 4 to 5 years experience working as either a BIM Technician or BIM Engineer

Experience working with common data environments

Detailed knowledge of ISO19650, associated standards and BIM documentation

Detailed knowledge of Viewpoint CDE

Knowledge and experience with Revit, AutoCAD, ReCAP Pro, Navisworks Manage & BIM360
