Fawkes & Reece South Looking for Procurement Manager at Slough, Berkshire Full Time

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that works on civil engineering and groundworks projects on behalf of main contractors throughout the South of England. Their projects are worth between £200k to £7m based on both JCT & NEC contracts.

Your role will be to support the Group Finance Director in setting up an effective procurement and supply chain system. You will also be rewriting processes, building on current and establish new relationships with the supply chain.

You will be involved in (but not limited to):

• Leading on supply chain contract negotiations
• Supporting several sectors of the business with specialist and generalist procurement
• Regular reporting of project costs against tenders
• Developing systems for stock control and contract costings
• Manage any potential supply problems and work to find solutions

Requirements including skills and qualifications:

Experience working as a Procurement Manager/Supply Chain Manager in a construction environment

Be a good negotiator and collaborator

Effective communication skills and ability to prioritise

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
