Job Title: Product Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating with business stakeholders, understanding product vision, and overseeing the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and business acumen to drive the successful delivery of our products. ing directly to the Head of Engineering, the Product Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Vision and Strategy:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the vision, goals, and requirements of the product.
• Develop and maintain a clear product strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and market demands.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

2. Product Planning and Road mapping:

• Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, user feedback, and market analysis.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, timelines, and release schedules.
• Maintain a well-groomed backlog of features, enhancements, and bug fixes, ensuring alignment with the product vision and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to gain alignment on product priorities and strategic direction.

3.Requirements Gathering and Documentation:

• Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document product requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and use cases.
• Ability to create basic wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes to visually communicate product features and user interfaces with stakeholders.

4.Design Coordination:

• Collaborate with design teams to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.
• Review and provide feedback on design concepts, ensuring alignment with product requirements and usability best practices.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews and obtain sign-off on design deliverables.

5.Partnership Management:

• Engage with external partners, vendors, and third-party providers to establish integrations and API access required for product development.
• Coordinate partnerships and negotiate agreements related to integrating with exeternal partners (API’s) for access. Additionally provide input on SLA’s and terms to ensure alignment to product requirements.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of partner APIs and services into the product ecosystem.

6.Software Specification and Development:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to map design specifications with technical requirements and API implementations.
• Support and guide the software development team in creating detailed software specifications
• Provide ongoing support and clarification to development teams during the implementation phase.

7.Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress updates to stakeholders, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback, address concerns, and make decisions.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive consensus.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience (8+ years) working as a Product Manager or similar role in software development, technology, or related industry.
2. Strong understanding of product management methodologies, Agile principles, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
3. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable product specifications and technical documentation.
4. Basic experience reviewing designs put together in wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
5. Working experience with tools like whimsical, miro, xmind, drawio would be an added advantage.
6. Proficiency in working with project management software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Google Meet).
