Fastbreak Sports is New York City’s leader in Youth Sports. We specialize in basketball, multi-sport & flag football and our Fastbreak Kids department excels in after school & recess classes, school contracted programming and early childhood camps, classes and events.
We are looking to hire a full-time Early Childhood Director. This is a self-starter position which requires an eager, driven and ambitious person looking to be a part of a growth focused organization with a passion for youth programming. The ideal candidate has held a previous position in the field and experience in any/all of the following areas: youth education, athletic/camp director, head coach, school teacher or aide.
Qualifications:
Minimum of bachelor’s degree
Experience in and knowledge of NYC youth programming, school systems, youth curriculum
Combination of professionalism, customer service, management and logistics
Attention to detail with email/phone correspondence, sales, marketing, facility management software
Problem-solving and engagement with employees and customers
Results focused through ever-changing conditions in a fast paced environment
Successful experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding goals
Capability to effectively delegate responsibilities and manage a team
Commitment to the highest level of facility management
Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving growth through program quality, sales initiatives and customer service
Achieve growth and hit sales goals by successfully managing the Client Services and Sales Team
Develop creative strategies for business growth and revenue generation within your department
Identify challenges and proactively present appropriate action plans
Manage all aspects of the daily operations of the department and facility
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
Collect program tuition and record/deposit all income into the appropriate accounts
Train, mentor, and inspire your programming team
Manage your team on a daily basis to meet or exceed company objectives
Responsible for consistently and effectively communicating the company’s shared goals to your team through organized and scheduled meetings and through email correspondence
Collaborate and partner with corporate departments to ensure policies, procedures and initiatives are executed within the department
Take ownership of facility; greet customers, staff and assist with check in for programming
Implement the company’s visual and brand standards, inclusive of literature presentation, signage, lighting, clean lobbies, updated message boards, and organized workspaces
