Farmdrop Hiring for Stock Operative (Weekends and Evenings) Job at London, England Full Time

We are looking to hire a meticulous On Demand Operative to control the stock and pack orders for our on demand delivery operation which we run through a third party app, Deliveroo. The position is based at our Battersea site, but there will be ad hoc shifts at our other sites (Camden and Hackney)

Our On Demand sites deliver a curated selection of products quicker than ever. You will be the last point of contact with our producers’ amazing food before it arrives with our customers.. We are looking for someone with a real passion for food and a keen attention to detail.

Pay rate: £11.15 per hour

Hours: Part time hours working weekend days and weekday evenings

Start date: Immediate

The Role

• Receipt of Producer Deliveries – ensuring what has been ordered is delivered in the right quantity and on time
• Inventory Audit – coordinating regular inventory audits and keeping up-to-date records
• Quality Control – ensuring products are of the required standard and reporting issues promptly and accurately
• Receipting & Packing Orders – ensuring all orders are packed accurately, neatly and on time
• Dispatch – assisting with the dispatch of orders from the premises to 3rd party delivery drivers
• Liaising with warehouse staff and other internal teams
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and adhering to the highest food safety guidelines at all times

Requirements

• A strong attention to detail – our customers getting the produce they order is very important to us!
• Organised and methodical – ability to follow set procedures
• A willingness to work towards targets and deadlines
• Comfortable with manual handling and working in a cold (fridge) environment
• Comfortable handling meat, fish and alcohol
• A passion for food and improving the local food system
• Beneficial but not essential: Experience working with on demand delivery software e.g. Deliveroo, UberEats etc
