ing to the Vice-President, Operations, you’ll direct local lending, develop sales and marketing strategies, and manage the district’s substantial loan portfolio. You’ll lead and coach a successful sales team, authorize large credit proposals and nurture industry relationships.

A recruitment agency has been contracted in this case and therefore any external candidates provided by them will be considered.

What you’ll do:

• Mentor the district team on our relationship management process, customer experience standards and culture
• Manage the district including its operation and business results
• Build relationships with external partners such as industry associations, other corporate representatives, accountants and realtors
• Ensure district activities and goals are in line with corporate objectives and policy

What we’re looking for:

• A confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A leader who builds relationships, embraces change and focuses on efficiency
• Extensive knowledge of agriculture and credit adjudication
• A multi-tasker who can manage other revenue areas including insurance and software sales

What you’ll need:

• A degree in agriculture, business or commerce and at least seven years of related leadership and lending experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); a professional agrologist designation is an asset
• A drive to help others achieve their goals
• Excellent coaching skills
