About the Role
We are currently seeking a Document Adminsitrator (internally known as Consumer Proposal Administrator – Resolution Team) to join our team at our North York office. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing sign-up documents for accuracy and policy compliance as well as filing documents with Official Receiver (“OR”).
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
Monitoring proof of claims for negative or positive votes.
Issuing stays of proceedings notices.
Preparing mailings to creditors.
Monitoring file status and scheduling meetings of creditors as required.
Preparation of documents for meeting of creditors.
Day to day contact and issue resolution with debtors and creditors.
Monitoring estates for deemed annulments.
Preparation of annulment notices.
Preparation of Interim Dividends, Certificate of Full Performance, and statement of receipts and disbursements.
Communication with OR’s office for issue resolution
Completing other duties assigned by Trustee or Senior Administrator.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education or related equivalent experience. Insolvency Administrator Certificate is an asset.
Previous insolvency administration and/or customer service experience is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to speak effectively with clients and other third parties.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
High computer literacy including the ability to learn new programs.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Great interpersonal skills to deal with team members, staff, and clients.
A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their workload.
