About Us

Family Insight is dedicated to the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders through evidence-based interventions and service programs. We serve children, adolescents, families and adults in our intensive in-home and mental health support programs. We also serve children with Autism through our Behavioral Therapy (ABA) services. Our staff includes counselors, clinicians, nurses, and mental health professionals who utilize each client’s unique strengths and support resources to develop individualized treatment plans.

We are seeking an excellent Talent Acquisition Specialist who has a solid business acumen, human resource skill set and strong leadership skills with the ability to think strategically, while handling day-to-day activities. This is a remote position, and the qualified candidate can be located in Virginia (Roanoke, Richmond, Chesterfield or Norfolk) or Florida (Jacksonville or Orlando).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborates with Site Directors and Department Heads to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Manage job posting and advertisement processes.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
• Establishes and cultivates recruiting relationships with diversity and military placement services.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Serves as the subject matter expert for the overall talent acquisition policies and procedures.
• Always maintains a high degree of confidentiality due to access to sensitive information.
• Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the business.
• Assists with special projects as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• At least 3-5+ years of talent acquisition management experience preferred.
• SHRM credentialing is a plus.
• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Kronos experience is a plus.
• Experience with Google suite is preferred.
