Family Insight, P.C. is a well-established community-based organization which consists of a committed group of professionals and counselors dedicated to promoting the mental, emotional and social well-being of those in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide treatment for children, adolescents, families and adults who have been diagnosed with a wide range of mental health and/or substance abuse disorders. We currently have a full-time Administrative Assistant position available in Virginia Beach, VA.
Job Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant will be primarily responsible for providing Outpatient administration support for the Virginia Beach office. Duties include scanning, filing, greeting clients, maintaining client files, answering and forwarding phone calls/referrals, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Office Manager. An important task of this position is to complete insurance verification, so experience in this skill is needed.
Job Requirements: For the role of Administrative Assistant, the candidate we are looking for will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an office setting. Previous experience in a mental health or medical office setting preferred. An Associate’s degree in the Human Services field is also preferred. The successful candidate must also be able to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment and have great attention to detail.
