The Position

This position will work closely with the Accounting Supervisor, Controller, and CEO. Within this role, you will be able to make a direct impact over multiple areas within Freshpack, including the finance function.As our company grows, so does our team. This is a highly valued, key position on our finance team.

The Job Responsibilities

• Assist with overall Cost Accounting. Analyzing, reconciling, and closing shop orders and jobs
• Participating in inventory counts, inputting inventory data, evaluating reports, checking discrepancies, and presenting findings
• Setting standard and average costs of manufactured goods
• Researching and presenting explanations to job cost variances
• Making recommendations to management with suggested changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce costs and maximize profits
• Processing accounts payable (3-way match)
• Preparing, posting, verifying, and recording customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Serving as payroll backup

The Desired Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Experience with A/P, A/R, and Account Reconciliations
• Proficient within the General Ledger
• Proficient within Excel

• Experience with ERP systems, preferred

The Pay

• Salary: $60,000 – $80,000
