Skills & Experience Required;

• Proven experience in recruitment for early years sector and managing a team – Essential
• Previous experience working within a fast paced and busy environment – Essential
• Strong organisational, critical thinking and communications skills – Essential
• Knowledge of pre-employment checks, including those outlined by the EYFS and DfE – Essential
• Thorough understanding and delivery of the Family First ethos and recruitment practices – Desirable

• Good knowledge of IT skills such as Excel, Word and database systems would be advantageous
• Handle multiple task simultaneously whilst meeting deadlines

Job description

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand the business, their needs and how to attract and evaluate strong, diverse talent
• Build strong rapport with key stakeholders and work with them to create a successful and robust recruitment process based on their needs
• Maximise candidate attraction on recruitment agency platforms and negotiate new and existing service level agreements
• Coordinate and lead recruitment campaigns on social media platforms, local events and source new opportunities to source suitable candidates
• Lead to accelerate the recruitment team’s performance to exceed targets set and produce weekly reports to senior team
• Delivering a recruitment experience which ensures candidates are aware of our company values
• Manage job posting via job boards, website and review sites
• Overcome recruitment challenges in specific geographic locations with innovative solutions
• Embed safer recruitment and compliance practices to ensure suitability of staff pre-employment
• Set up and lead an apprenticeship programme on the long term
• Comply with requirements of DfE (Department for Education) in Early Years about childcare qualifications, vetting requirements, DBS process, pre-screening and interview process
• Demonstrate strong recruiting ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Proactively source, screen and guide candidates through a successful interviewing and candidate experience
• Create, improve and align existing recruitment processes including interviews and new starter packs and promotion opportunities
• Develop data/reporting materials for performance evaluation and provide recommendations for improvements on the current recruitment strategy
