We are looking for a Remote Dental Office Manager for a dental clinic in Northeastern Ontario. This valued individual must be passionate about positively leading the team while ensuring the best patient experience possible. In this role, you will lead the team through the day-to-day dental office operations. We are looking for a positive, efficient and capable manager who truly understands the art of leadership and who wants the entire team to succeed. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to ensuring the clinic runs as smoothly as possible, business systems are in place, and improving the long-term growth of the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a full-time Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations. This will include responsibilities such as: general office administration, employee relations, scheduling and patient (customer) service. In this role, you will act as the liaison between the clinical team, the patients and the dentists. You will be overseeing the practice’s performance.

Understand and adhere to provincial regulations, practice standards and policies relevant to the dental profession
Ensure that the office delivers optimal levels of continuity between patient and service provider
Motivate and coach practice team to provide outstanding patient service
Manage the day-to-day clinical operations, including overseeing the schedule, accounts receivables, employee relations, patient satisfaction (customer service) and other related office responsibilities
Prepare weekly/monthly reports to send to the dentists and book keeper
Maintaining Account Receivables at an acceptable amount
Ensure Account Payables paid

REQUIREMENTS

Experience leading a team, preferably in the dental environment
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or a Dental Hygienist is an asset
Understanding of dental office related health & safety regulations
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Dental Practice Software)
Excellent communication and people skills
Attentive to detail
Organized and reliable
Additional certification or training is an asset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
