Falmouth Institute Hiring for Curriculum and Instruction Specialist Job at Fairfax, VA Full Time

Falmouth Institute specializes in professional training for American Indian and Alaska Native Tribal Governments, tribal organizations, and tribal enterprises. We seek a curriculum staff member to assist in the development and management of culturally-relevant training materials. Position can be either hybrid remote in its Fairfax, VA office or fully remote depending upon candidates location.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in adult education, instructional design, organizational development or a related field, or bachelor’s degree in any field plus related job experience
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills
• Outstanding research, writing and editing skills
• Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus
• Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS PowerPoint
• Ability to grasp topics spanning multiple disciplines and create clear, concise curriculum for adult learners
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Desired Skills and Experience * Understanding and appreciation of Native American culture

• Experience in developing online interactive curriculum
• A thorough knowledge of the training process for ILT and VILT
• Essential Duties Include:

• Developing and revising the curriculum content

• Formatting and editing materials for training sessions in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
• Coordinating with subject matter experts on materials and scheduling
• Participating in conference calls with clients to assess client needs
• Researching and reporting on issues, legislation and regulations that impact the Native American and Alaska Native communities
• Travel, while not regular or extensive, may be required from time to time
