Job title: Education Campaigns Officer

Salary: £31,360 per annum

Location: 5.7 The Loom, 14 Gowers Walk, E1 8PY (hybrid working)

Contract/Hours: 35 hours/week; fixed term contract to 31 March 2023

Fairtrade Foundation are recruiting for an Education Campaigns Officer to play a lead role in the engagement of young people with Fairtrade, through our network of thousands of schools, colleges and universities across the UK. There’s a strong focus on developing resources, activities and communications that support teachers and schools to develop their understanding of the issues behind Fairtrade, as well as supporting universities and colleges to deepen their understanding and action to support Fairtrade.

You’ll need to be a creative, organised and agile team player, with experience in educational content and activity development, and communicating at scale with external contacts. If you have experience of managing website content and customer/supporter databases, that’s great, but it’s not essential.

Fairtrade changes the way trade works through better prices, decent working conditions and a fairer deal for farmers and workers around the world.
