About the
Position
Reporting to
the Assistant CFO in the Finance and Resources team, the Finance
Officer is responsible for working with the business and external
client/service providers to deliver a range of finance, resourcing
and project services to the Commission’s Members, managers
and staff.
Duties
administered receipts and process refunds.
administered refund inbox and respond to
queries.
month end accounting processes including for administered
funds.
maintaining the contract / purchasing
system.
the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax
lodgements.
processing accounts payables and receivables and travel expenses as
required.
reconciliations and GST reconciliations and
transactions.
opportunities for contributing to continuous improvement, including
streamlining and simplifying policies and
practices.
support and assistance to senior members of the Finance and
Resources team.
other duties as directed.
