Faimdata Hiring for Hardware Engineer at Montréal, QC Full Time

Responsibilities

• Assembly of core device and peripheral hardware integration

• Test and develop sensors and communication peripherals (GPS, 4G, etc…)

• Test and design power supply requirements to the core platform

• Test software pipeline, log bugs and cases of failure

• Manage on-site hardware with clients

Competencies

• Experience with I2C CAN GPIO

• Experience with the SCM system

• Linux and Bash environments

• Mechanical tools such as drills, saws, etc…

• Research, procurement and assembly of mechanical parts for robustness

• Designing and validating power supply requirements

• Power electronics wiring schematics

• Test WiFi and 4G LTE connectivity

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$111,000.00 per year
