The Faculty of Clinical Informatics is a vibrant, young charitable organisation with a growing multi-disciplinary membership. Backed by Health Education England, we are working at pace to support a wide range of health and social care practitioners to develop recognised professional skills and help fill the gap of 12,000 new clinical informaticians needed by 2030.

We’ve created the new role of Education and Training Lead to identify the learning needs of FCI members and plan how these will be met through external providers as well as through the development and delivery of our own training services. The successful candidate will be great at collaborating with external organisations, such as HEE and its equivalents in other UK nations, FedIP, universities and other educational providers to ensure that quality training is available to health and care professionals working in digital health at all stages of their careers. You’ll be skilled at project planning, working within defined budgets and delivering on time and have a track record of stimulating adult learning through a variety of formats such as self-directed learning, online learning, work-place learning. You’ll be excited by the challenge of being the pathfinder in this new role and making a significant impact, supporting our members to develop their skills, aligned to our Core Competencies Framework.

We are a friendly, flexible small team, committed to supporting a diverse workforce. This permanent role is fulltime home working with occasional visits to our office in London, E1 8QT. Salary £51,000 – £56,000 per annum.
