Fabius Labs Hiring for Marketing and Sales Manager at Remote Full Time

We are looking for a passionate marketing and sales manager who can effectively manage the Fabius brand, and inbound and outbound marketing efforts. You should have a knack for turning a brand into creative and copy, and excellent project management skills to keep various marketing efforts moving forward simultaneously and support the execution of sales. You will interact with various Fabius team members, including the CEO who leads sales, as well as Project Managers, Engineering Managers and Design who weigh in on estimating customer projects. You will to the CEO.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Fabius brand management. Working from our brand guide, you will implement and update periodically a brand strategy that effectively represents who we are in various channels. You will come up with strategies that embody the Fabius brand in different channels and ensure continuity and consistency in all of our materials.
• Demand generation. You will be primarily responsible for designing, building, testing and assessing the effectiveness of go to market (GTM) channels, which will likely include experimentation with various (SEM, SEO, and/or content-based) inbound, outbound and other methods. The primary goal is to generate qualified leads. This might include, for example:
• Drafting and posting SEO optimized blog posts
• Generating new outbound funnels through email and our website
• Generating speaking or press engagements for senior members of the staff
• Managing our social media presence

• Website management. You will oversee our website, including keeping the content fresh, the website working properly (working with the Engineering team as necessary) and helping others post job requisitions or blog posts on the site. You will oversee design and/or engineering changes to the website.
• Sales pipeline support. You will support the CEO on the execution of our sales pipeline. Once a lead has turned into a deal, you will support and/or own drafting of Scopes of Work (SOW), working with others to generate estimates for those SOWs, sending them to the client, answering their questions and/or coordinating with others to answer their questions, and project managing the sale to close. Over time, you may take on the role of taking calls with new qualified leads.
• Marketing and sales tools. You will own our marketing and sales instrumentation tooling such as our CRM and automation tools, and leveraging those tools to on experiment effectiveness. You should be familiar with how to set up and best leverage marketing and sales tools.

Desired Characteristics

• Ownership mindset of our marketing and sales efforts – and their successes and failures. Being a strong PM, highly organized, and able to keep multiple efforts moving forward at the same time will be a critical aspect of this role.
• Self-starter who will proactively solve problems, engage others to improve processes, and speak up when necessary
• Strong communication skills both internally and with clients, such as being able to understand the real problem the client is trying to solve with technology and converting that into a SOW that speaks to their hopes, fears and dreams, as well as the literal work they want us to do (e.g. build a website)
• Strong attention to detail; our fast paced environment requires copyediting, pre-scheduling marketing efforts, and ensuring Fabius puts its best foot forward from a marketing perspective

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marketing data tools such as ZoomInfo
• Experience with CRMs (such as Hubspot), building pipelines, and setting them up so that we can create a strong data set to inform future marketing efforts
• Experience optimizing (and automating to the extent possible) marketing and sales process for effective attribution and outcome assessment
• Experience with consulting, i.e., client work and the communication, organization and relationship building that entails
• Experience with building a brand and translating that brand into copy and creative
• Strong writer and copy editor
