Job Description – Sales Manager
The Sales Manager is responsible for consistently meeting planned sales targets through successful leadership of the sales team and achieving growth as defined by the corporation. You will coordinate with our marketing department to maximize the return on lead generation through the tracking of sales goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitate the ongoing training and motivation of the sales team members. This will require close interaction with each sales team member on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
· Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of sales team members.
· Set sales goals, compare performance to goals.
· Assess the current team selling processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvements as required, and implement them.
· Provide detailed and accurate weekly sales s for review with the sales team and management focusing on key performance indicators.
· Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to the team members.
· Assess individual performance through ride-along observations, and measurements, developing process improvement plans as needed.
· Foster a competitive yet collaborative positive team environment.
· Encourage and participate in a regular post sale customer follow-up process with the sales team.
· Participate with other department heads within the company to assure sales processes and activities are aligned with the company’s remodeling process to assure a positive customer experience.
· Participate in the development of corporate growth and market expansion plan as required to support corporate goals.
Qualifications:
· Home Improvement Sales Experience (Required).
· Strong written and verbal skills.
· Proven ability to lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales goals.
· Results-oriented style with strong analytical skills.
· Experienced finance funding solutions.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Leap Sales Software preferred.
· Skilled in running in-person and virtual team meetings.
· Good understanding CRM system and best practices related to the remodeling industry.
· High level of professional and ethical dealings with clients and sales team members.
· Must be PC and iPad proficient.
· Bathroom remodeling experience beneficial.
· Ability to work up to 6 days/week, morning, and evenings.
· Ability to travel within the state of North Carolina and South Carolina.
· 65% of the job involves the manager working directly with the individual sales team members.
· Strong ability to manage remotely located sales team members.
· Ability to work with other departments and management team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
