POSITION SUMMARY: Manage all elements of employee relations, training, recruiting, hiring, and labor relations along with the facility Affirmative Action and Safety Programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.
• Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.
• Develop and administer Human Resources plans, policies and procedures for all facility personnel.
• Implement and manage compliance to all personnel policies and procedures, including Employee Handbook, benefits administration, FMLA, Affirmative Action Plan, safety rules, etc.
• Manage the recruitment process for all facility jobs and the plan for new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Develop and manage Workforce Development Programs for all facility personnel.
• Oversee facility safety program.
• Establish and maintain departmental records/reports and report out as required at facility.
• Evaluate department reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvements in efficiency and timing of services performed.
• Represent management in investigating, answering, and settling employee claims, grievances, disputes, etc.
• Respond to inquiries and requests from governmental agencies, such as EEOC and NLRB.
• Oversee the Workers Compensation program.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, monthly and yearly paperwork and reports as required.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.
• Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes.
• Support facility operations staff and perform other duties as assigned.
• Safety, administrative and a Generalist will report to this position.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
• Strong computer skills with emphasis on ATS, Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Human Resources’ processes/procedures.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills both up and down throughout the facility.
• Solid analytical and planning skills.
• Proficient in problem analysis and resolution.
• Strong management and team building skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or combination of education and experience in a related field.
• five to seven years’ experience in HR Management.
• SHRM certification preferred.
• Advanced degree in a related field a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
• For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
