Summary of Position

This position is hands-on and requires attention to detail and excellent time management skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Perform reconciliations and detailed account analysis of general ledger accounts to ensure they properly reflect the company’s financial position and results in accordance with company policy and GAAP

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring that the company’s revenues and expenses are correctly reported and classified in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare, develop and/or analyze various financial reports for use by management
• Manage AP and AR
• Maintain vendor and customer master data for Corporate and Field locations
• Cash reconciliations – G/L, bank & cashbook
• General Ledger reconciliations & analysis
• Preparation, entering & posting of journal entries
• Fixed asset and lease accounting
• Inter-company account balancing
• Verification of banking details for ACH and Wire requests
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations to various subledgers and/or supporting documentation
• Month-end accrual preparation and other closing processes
• Complete month end closing processes as assigned
• Assist in the gathering of information for internal and external auditors
• Communicate with peers, field operations, and management of all levels
• Show continuous improvement through process review and organizational development
• Carry out job duties while maintaining EZ values
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years’ experience in accounting related field
• CPA highly desired
• Highly organized individual accustomed to managing multiple priorities
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal controls
• Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions
• Ability to function as a team player
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• ERP experience is desired; Sage/Intaact preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
