About The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our Recruitment team. In this role you will report to the APAC Recruitment Lead, and work alongside a team of experienced recruiters. This is a great opportunity for you to learn new skills, build on your career, and help to grow a global network. Your key responsibilities
- Drive end to end recruitment process, identifying top talent and supporting hiring managers to assist in making effective quality focused hires across the Oceania Region (Aus and NZ).
- Source and attract talent in the region and engage with passive candidates through networking, online databases, active sourcing, social media, employee referrals, and other creative programs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders (hiring managers) to understand talent requirements and strategic priorities, along with managing follow-up and implementation of recruitment plans
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of business demand based on trends and insights into the local market
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial screening to on-boarding stage
- Continuously build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers with a focus on meeting business demand and headcount plan
- Act as a source of knowledge through continuous learning and process improvements
- Use market expertise and data to educate and recommend how to hire the best talent
Skills and attributes for success
To be successful in this role you will preferably have previous experience managing high volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment. You will be a confident communicator and presenter with excellent organisational and negotiation skills. You will have the ability to build relationships and work as part of a team, be adaptable and skilled at managing multiple priorities whilst focusing on quality candidates. We want you to be creative and have a passion for recruitment and working with people.
Apart from the above, ideally you will have;
- Minimum 2+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus across the entire talent acquisition life cycle – from sourcing through to on-boarding – knowledge of IT recruitment an advantage
- Ability to adapt & thrive within a fast-paced, constantly changing and growing business environment with a customer centric-approach.
- Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and strong time management skills.
- Experience in using a Recruitment software to track and report recruitment activities to the business.
- Prior experience working with a Big4 or large consulting firm is not mandatory but desirable
