The opportunity
The Resource Coordinator is responsible for working in conjunction with the business to allocate staff to well-suited engagements, as well as conducting day-to-day administrative and consultative functions effectively. To be successful in this role, the individual will work closely with our key stakeholders and engagement managers, to optimise the utilisation of resources, whilst also ensuring that our people are provided with the best experiences to drive their careers successfully. We are currently on the lookout for someone who is ready to kickstart their passion for resource management and workforce planning, or are in the early stages of their resourcing career, and is a highly motivated self-starter and strong team player.
This role is offered at Consultant level on a full-time basis within our Sydney office. The individual will play a key role amongst our supportive and tight-knit team of resourcers, within the Financial Services (FS) Consulting service line.
Your key responsibilities
Working with the business to allocate staff on suitable engagements, according to their skills and experience
Conducting day-to day administrative and consultative functions, which includes extracting data to prepare reports for the business unit and other ad hoc tasks
Reviewing and analysis of relevant reports to identify trends and communicating these insights to your manager, broader team, and key stakeholders
Responsible for managing key relationships within and across FS (Financial Services), along with other relevant stakeholders
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
Excellent stakeholder management skills, conflict resolution and negotiating skills to balance individual and business needs
Experience in using MS Excel and information/data analysis with a high degree of accuracy
Proven experience in managing multiple tasks, with effective prioritisation skills
A team-player, with a desire to build exceptional, high-performing teams
Strong business acumen, with an understanding of the professional services environment and/or financial services sector being ideal
Ideally, you’ll also have
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Ability to adapt to changing priorities within the business and operational market
Proven track record of meeting targets and the ability to work autonomously
