As Learning Program Manager, you will be accountable for overseeing and managing the delivery of learning for your assigned areas of the business and a portfolio of TD projects, working collaboratively with our technical SMRs and respective Learning Deployment Specialists.
You will be expected to perform core responsibilities, including those set out below, contributing to Talent Development priorities and objectives. An essential component of the role is also to generate high levels of employee and stakeholder engagement through your communication, behaviours and actions.
The team is based across various locations with the majority in London and Birmingham. This role would therefore be best suited to someone based in London or Birmingham. You’ll be reporting to the UKI Consulting Learning Leader

Your key responsibilities
DEFINE LEARNING
For the assigned portfolio, own and drive the identification of L&D needs in line with business priorities for assigned client group (e.g., SSL, competency area, covering UK&I, FSO and ROI needs and populations) appropriately engaging with the business stakeholders
Collaborate with Global counterparts, EMEIA/Global, EMEIA FSO, other SLs and cross-SL to identify common themes and avoid duplication – leveraging global content wherever possible
Alignment to EY Learning strategy, adoption of global curriculum, common design standards and processes
Meet frequently with Service Line business stakeholders to ensure relationship and processes are robust and consistent giving the business the desired learning outcomes
Ensure client group strategic priorities and learning needs are included in the SL Learning curriculum planning processes
DESIGN AND DEVELOP LEARNING
Design and develop Learning deliverables as required (including Learning Objectives, Solution Plans, Design Specifications, Storyboard, Deployment Plans and Learning materials)
Drive virtualisation/ blended learning, innovation of the UK&I learning content that receive great feedback and contribute to building TD brand
Test new content proposals with stakeholders and act on feedback
Submit Local Learning Solutions for go / no go decisions
Engage SME for Learning design & build of local content as required
Engage EY CoE (GDS LSS), SME Consultant or approved vendors to undertake design and development activities of local UK&I content
Manage the running of Learning Program pilots, capture, feedback, propose and implement change requests
Create deployment and logistics materials
DEPLOY LEARNING
Create learning deployment plans and budgets for assigned portfolio and projects
Monitor and manage the execution of Learning plans and budgets, providing clear project updates and communicate at all stages pre, during and post learning projects and events
Work with business stakeholders/ L&D champions to drive uptake and completion of courses to targets
Proactively monitor and manage the completion of mandatory learning to targets in line with SL policy requirements, problem solve or escalate for resolution
Manage facilitator excellence. Work with key stakeholders to develop a facilitator model which minimises admin burden on our Deployment Specialists and appropriately leverages the business, support the Deployment Specialists in implementation of this
Manage the delivery of service or asset/technology by external vendors
ENABLING LEARNERS
Curate, validate and communicate learning maps based on learner roles and/or business segment. Manage build and maintenance of the comms channels (portals, JAM, Yammer groups, MS teams channels etc).
Create and own learner communications, marketing and learner engagement activities for the assigned client group to drive learning uptake. Engage sponsorship and learning advocates in the business
Create, set up and manage learning communities for virtual learning uptake, create and cascade best practice, educate the learners and business stakeholders on options to drive learning uptake within their community
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Responsible/ensure approval of budgeting / forecasts/ accruals/ recharges and vendor invoicing for assigned portfolio, monitor spend and report on an agreed frequency
Support and manage monthly/annual team finance activities and meetings, tracking for budgeting and spend and produce reports and respond to requests from Operations team.
MEASURE LEARNING
Generate insights and recommendations, lead on in-depth UK&I studies of the impact of programmes, propose solutions based on data
Review and escalate Learning Program feedback to the line manager and share insights, as well as value and impact of learning with stakeholders
Own and drive continuous improvement of local UK&I content, based on feedback
LEARNING FACILITATION
Facilitate Learning Programs, as per the agreed scope of services
Host, produce, and co-facilitate VILT or virtual learning projects (as per the agreed scope of services)
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Manage team, act as a counsellor, coach and mentor, participate in recruitment, drive team development, manage performance
Act as a role model, demonstrate ownership for own professional growth and how you maintain relevance in the role.

Strong IT skills – MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and knowledge of learning platforms (LMS and VILT)
To qualify for the role, you must have
Strong senior stakeholder management / business consulting skills – a proven track record of maintaining strong business relationships across all levels
The ability to network, manage relationships and work virtually and cross-culturally across borders
Evidence of identifying and implementing process improvements and creation of best practice
Functional expertise in Learning & Development; knowledge of trends in learning including Virtual Learning and Learning Technology
A background of working in corporate environment/large/complex professional services organisations
