The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the EY Oceania Talent team as we grow and develop our Service Delivery Centre (SDC) located in Ballarat, on Wathaurong nation lands. This role would suit someone ideally seeking a part-time role.

You will work closely with the SDC Leadership and provide both strategic and operational HR support as they establish this new service and office location.

In your role, you will be required to:

• Act as a strategic partner by understanding the EY Talent strategy, the SDCs objectives, local business and industry issues and how these apply.
• Work closely with the wider Oceania Talent team and Centres of Excellence to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all required change initiatives and Talent processes, such as performance reviews, remuneration reviews and engagement programmes.
• Efficiently and expertly execute operational activity by monitoring services and providing feedback to continually improve operations.
• Be the first escalation point of contact for high-risk employee relations matters.

We are looking for people with the following experience:

• Proven HR Professional/Business partner experience supporting a corporate professional client base
• Experience working with award covered employees
• Robust commercial acumen, HR reporting and analytics experience
• Demonstrated experience in performance management, employee relations, remuneration review
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to gain their trust and confidence in you as a business partner/advisor
• Knowledge and confidence to challenge leaders and think outside the square
