We go beyond strategy and provide end to end implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.

We are seeking GIS Developers to join our EY Data and Analytics team in our Perth office. This role is offered on a flexible, full-time basis.

As a GIS Developer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Create custom tools and applications to meet specific clients’ needs
• Provide technical support and training in GIS software, database creation and use
• Perform complex GIS analyses as required
• Research and recommend new technologies and processes to meet the business and client needs for GIS

Skills And Attributes For Success:

• Experience with developing custom tools and applications for specific needs using ArcGIS API for Javascript (3+ years)
• A strong background in coding with experience in Python, SQL and R (Ideally 3+ years)
• Experience with ESRI suite of products (ideally ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online/Enterprise) and other open source GIS software (ideally 2+ years)
• Configuration and coordination of GIS enterprise technology and databases

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
• Experience in a delivery role on Spatial Analytics, Remote Sensing, Business Intelligence or Big Data projects
• Exceptional communication, documentation and presentation skills
