About The Position
Seda North America is seeking an Extrusion Line Operator to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with excellent problem-solving skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience operating plastics extrusion lines. The company offers a sign-on bonus of $1500. Seda North America is an air-conditioned, exceptionally clean facility that designs and produces innovative paper packaging solutions, including unique insulated coffee cups and food industry containers.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in thermoplastics
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and calculate percentages
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50lb weight unassisted and remain on feet standing and walking for 8-hour shift

Responsibilities
- Operate extrusion equipment to create plastic sheets
- Set up machine with proper materials based on recipe
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in real time
- Perform quality checks regularly
