Express Employment Professionals Hiring for Medical Billing Specialist Full Time

Express Employment Professionals in Yuba City is hiring immediately for a Medical Biller for a full-time position with a reputable health care clinic in the Yuba/Sutter area. The Medical Biller will be responsible for managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing payments for medical services.

Medical Biller Responsibilities:

• Interpret patient charts and medical codes to determine how much is owed
• Submit claims to patient insurance
• Document billing information and maintain patient accounts
• Investigate denied claims to ensure reconciliation as soon as possible
• Provide customer service to patients & insurance companies

Medical Biller Qualifications:

• At least two years of medical billing experience within a general medical practice or health clinic
• Knowledge of ICD 9/10 codes
• Proficient with electronic health records software
• Excellent communication skills – both written & verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with FQHC billing is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical billing: 2 years (Preferred)
