General Summary:

The Cost Accountant provides financial support to manage and control manufacturing costs by collecting, analyzing, tracking and reporting direct and indirect costs As the key liaison between operations and finance, this position is responsible for cost accounting, financial analysis, assisting in development and maintenance of products standards, maintenance of inventory standards, labor efficiency reporting and assisting in month end closing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

2-4 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Effective communication skills with a strong internal customer orientation. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including outstanding Excel skills. Strong cost systems background with excellent analytical skills and a sound understanding of accounting principals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $41.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Cost accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • ERP systems: 1 year (Preferred)
