Role Type: Full-time, Temporary (18 months)

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the delivery and management of end-to-end recruitment processes for positions across our organisation. You will effectively attract and source top talent predominately from the banking sector.

Our recruitment process is vital to the success of Export Finance Australia (EFA) and in this critical role you will be an ambassador for the organisation and will promote our brand with candidates and external recruitment agencies alike. This interesting and varied role will allow you to work with hiring managers and key stakeholders, and will involve you in enabling the business to achieve its key strategic objectives.

Build

• Develop and review current external search firms and recruitment agency relationships aligned with EFA’s goals and objectives
• Implement and optimise effective internal recruitment systems, drawing on industry knowledge and previous experience
• Investigate and implement programs to support inclusive and diverse candidate opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with external assessment and technology providers

Deliver

• Partner closely with HRBPs and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop proactive recruitment plans
• Actively manage the whole recruitment life cycle including overseeing position descriptions, drafting briefs and adverts, stakeholder management, shortlisting, phone screening, interviewing, offer and onboarding
• Champion and monitor initiatives to support diversity initiatives in the recruitment process and within the organisation
• Implement and enhance recruitment processes and tools to improve efficiency, develop hiring manager capabilities and create a great candidate experience

Enable

• Provide market intelligence and map priority talent pipelines to source the key capabilities required
• Utilise innovative sourcing techniques and channels and enhance technology platforms to attract passive and active candidates
• Develop and use social media recruitment channels, working with marketing to optimise results and strengthening our employer brand
• Develop and track key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the recruitment process and drive data-driven decision-making
• Promote and embody our employment brand that communicates the purpose and employee value proposition
• Understand current labour markets, recruiting channels, talent pools, and the competitive landscape to enable advice to our leadership team

ABOUT YOU

• Internal recruitment experience within Banking/Financial Services or relevant industries.
• Relevant work experience, managing the entire recruitment lifecycle including excellent interviewing, negotiation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of strategic sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, selection techniques and diversity recruiting
• Proven success working with hiring managers and other stakeholders to execute a high-touch, efficient hiring process
• A good understanding of technology solutions within the TA environment, including experience implementing an ATS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to attract and retain top talent
• Strong internal client service focus, client relationship management and influencing skills.
• ‘Hands on’ and pragmatic team player, with a willingness to work as part of a small team to get the job done
• Strong planning and co-ordination skills to ensure all activities are actioned within agreed timeframes
• Advanced user of Linkedin Recruiter preferred
