Explorers Early Learning is locally operated by a Melbourne family! With several services operating across Victoria and many more soon to open next year we are excited about opportunities we will have across our centres.

About our Centre:

Our Williamstown centre is licensed to 178, with 2 floors, underground parking and 4 outdoor areas for the children. It is set in a beautiful area with bus stops and coffee shops nearby. At Explorers we bring the children, families, peers and community together as a whole when we run our ‘extras programs’. Our educators really enjoy being a part of these programs and this also gives them the opportunity to learn more about ‘Music & Movement’, ‘Gardening & Sustainability’, Creative Arts and Language!

How can you support us:

• Show you can establish trusting, happy relationships with children, families, and staff
• Natural passion for children, education, and development with strong knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach.
• Able to work in a team environment and be a creative and cooperative team player
• Excellent English – written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of EYLF and NQS and a commitment to excellence in early childhood to provide high-quality care and education
• Deliver quality education programs and daily routines that meet the needs and interests of each individual child

Responsibilities:

• Highly experienced, dedicated and passionate room leader for a toddler room.
• Has confidence with programming and planning.
• Outside the box thinker.
• Innate ability to build and nurture relationships with families and local community stakeholders.
• Lead the planning and be a first port of call for your team
• Delegating tasks to ensure all the educators are having the opportunity to grow in their profession
• Demonstrate good relationships by working together

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Diploma in Children’s Services or approved Early Childhood Qualification
• Working with Children’s Check
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Understanding of the EYLF and NQS
• Proof of COVID Vaccine
