Our Nunawading Centre:

Explorers Nunawading opened in January 2021! We are a purpose build center, with 9 rooms across two levels. Incredible attention has been placed on our outdoor environments and we have two dedicated piazzas on both floors. Our team are enthusiastic and supportive, with a management team who has been promoted from within. We are located walking distance from Nunwading train station and have on site parking.

The Role:

• Work collaboratively and lead a team of educators in our Pre-Kinder room
• Facilitate intentional teaching experiences for children
• Demonstrate good relationships with children, families and the team
• Lead the planning and be a first port of call for your team
• Delegate tasks to ensure all the educators are having the opportunity to grow in their profession
• Support and mentor your team

Key requirements:

• Diploma level Early Childhood education and care qualification in accordance with the Education and Care Regulations 2012
• Demonstrated ability to create and implement quality education program using portfolio method
• Experience or understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach highly regarded
• Experience in long day care or equivalent ideal
• Current First Aid training certificate
• Current Working With Children Check
• Proof of COVID Vaccine
