About our Centre:
Our Essendon centre has beautiful outdoor areas for the children. It is set in a beautiful area with bus stops and coffee shops nearby. At Explorers we bring the children, families, peers and community together as a whole when we run our ‘extras programs’. Our educators really enjoy being a part of these programs and this also gives them the opportunity to learn more about ‘Music & Movement’, ‘Gardening & Sustainability’, Creative Arts and Language!

Your Role:

• Casual – To be able to accept shifts the same morning to cover sickness.
• You will have the opportunity once you establish yourself to be given shifts in advance.
• You will be expected to support the team in the daily running of the room
• Show initiative and also follow direction
• Be able to communicate with families and children
• Have an understanding of the Early Years Framework and demonstrate how you use it in your daily practice.

Key requirements:

• An approved early learning qualification, or evidence of studying towards an early learning qualification
• A demonstrated interest in children and their development
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
• Working with children check
• Working rights- Visa / Passport
• Photo ID
