Our client, is seeking a Logistic Specialist to join their team.

Job Posting : Logistics Specialist

Location : Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Pay Rate : $20.00 / hr. + Benefit.

Position Duration : 6 months contract

100% remote.

Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

The Logistics Specialist responsibilities include managing operational relationships with disposal vendors, coordinating quarterly business reviews, and collaborating to find savings opportunities.

The Specialist will manage the collection of funds for carrier claims, host meetings with counterparts, and cascade the weekly claims dashboard.

Responsibilities :

• Compile and cascade monthly disposal s for hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Monitor the Disposal Tracker and ensure sites are updating as required.
• Process waste vendor invoices promptly.
• Lead bi-weekly waste vendor and carrier claim calls.
• Onboard new acquired companies into the network through waste and disposal management.
• Provide clear and effective updates to Leadership on a weekly basis.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of logistics / transportation / auditing / freight bill pay experience
• Background in Logistics, Transportation, Auditing, and Freight Bill Pay
• Results-oriented and innovative thinker
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
