Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tyre fitter to join our team at Silverlake Automotive Recycling. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient dismantling and recycling of vehicles, supporting our mission to promote environmentally responsible practices.
Responsibilities
- Remove and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles in our tyre department
- Inspect tyres for damage and wear, recommending repairs or replacements.
- Assist with stocking tyres and sundries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support team members with maintenance tasks on tools and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or visitors.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tyre fitter or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with tyre fitting equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Customer service skills are advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £27,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
