Here at Experian, we’re excited to announce a great career opportunity for a Senior Employee Relations Consultant. You will play a key role as a member of the team with an emphasis on supporting managers with change management and employee relations issues. The Employee Relations team are a highly valued, integral function that supports the business to deliver a high performance culture, whilst ensuring we are not only legally compliant, but that our people are treated with respect and dignity.

The Senior ER Consultant partners defined business areas and provides employment, change management and policy advice and support to ensure that the people, employment and legal risks are managed effectively. The role holder will partner with the HRBPs and business managers to manage employment implications of business line structural change, redundancy and TUPE projects as required.
The role holder will manage business-wide and cross-business projects and will provide Employee Relationship leadership and expertise as required.
Key areas of responsibility include..
Managing complex ER cases of all case types across the UK&I business with minimal supervision
Reviewing monthly SLA and KPIs to ensure targets and expected standards are achieved and any patterns/trends etc. identified and solutions proposed to ensure operational activity is maintained to a high standard.
Responsible for coaching and advising managers up to Executive level on all ER aspects.
Identifying manager capability needs and works through ER Consultant/Advisers to develop and deliver appropriate interventions enable managers to manage their people effectively and to comply with core HR processes
Leading the ER workstream of medium to large change projects and manages unique and pooled redundancy projects from start to finish, including coaching and advising managers on approaches to take, identify and effectively manage risk to ensure the successful delivery of business changes within agreed timescales, supports consultation, provides documentation and delivers necessary training to managers
Working in collaboration with HRBPs and wider HR Team in delivering business change – including redundancies, restructures, & TUPEs. Provide advice on legal requirements, and recommend approaches to ensure successful delivery of change whilst effectively managing employment risk.
Keeping abreast of employment law changes and propose new HR policies and review existing to ensure ongoing legal compliance and application best practice, in conjunction with Procurement manage the relationship with Third Party Outplacement and Occupational Health providers support Senior ER Manager with Experian People Forum meetings/activities etc Manager Capability training,) driving continuous process improvement.
Liaising with ACAS on early conciliation for own and ER Consultant/Advisor cases.
Conducting Protected conversations for own cases and those of ER Advisors as required.
Coaching ER Consultant/Advisers to build their individual case management expertise across all types of ER cases so that they can effectively support managers and manage own cases in accordance with Company policies and procedures, and ensure legal compliance.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with broad generalist experience gained in a complex, matrix environment with a good understanding of employment law and regulations and change management
You’ll have experience delivering or advising on employment regulations and HR processes and services with ecellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Formal qualification wise, we’re ideally looking for someone who is Educated to degree-level or equivalent (CIPD desirable) with an Employment law qualification and exposure to Change management or project management qualification. Evidence of CPD would also be a great benefit!
