Job Description
The Onboarding Team deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience to new colleagues joining Experian. This is a core role in the Onboarding journey of our new employees. The purpose is to conduct accurate vetting in line with FCA standards, assess risk and manage each weeks incoming hires. Understanding of employment vetting principals is essential as you will be the first contact for new colleagues and internal stakeholders, as well as being accountable for process approvals. You will demonstrate a passion for providing outstanding customer experience.
What You’ll Need to Bring to the Party
Operational
A desire to grow your career within a HR service environment
Ability to maintain high attention to detail and produce accurate documentation, whilst ensuring service levels are achieved
Processing of effective vetting and right to work background checks of employees to meet legal and compliance standards, ensuring pragmatic decisions and minimal risk
Ability to work collaboratively to deliver results and ensure all communications with colleagues and managers are representative of Experian’s brand
Daily monitoring of inbox queries and responding to emails to fully support and help drive process improvements – identifying where current processes are ineffective and work with the Onboarding Manager to recommend and implement change
Able to prioritise, plan and organise effectively to manage case workload
Customer
Actively contribute to a culture that achieves the business goals, delights customers and keeps customer advocacy at the heart of everything we do
Ensure that good customer outcomes are at the centre of all operational activity and decision making
Deliver great customer service and seek to exceed expectations
Regulatory, Governance and Control
Adhere to all regulatory requirements within role responsibility and identify issues and/or trends in service delivery
Pro-actively identify risks and make recommendation to mitigate these
Understand and adhere to specific regulatory obligations and company policies and procedures
Performance Management
Understand and participate in Elevate Performance, ensuring stretching personal objectives, a personal development plan and regular self and team feedback
Comply with the Training and Competency requirements and complete required training in a timely manner
Qualifications
Experience in a vetting role is essential
Strong organisational and time management skills
Able to prioritise effectively and work in a proactive manner
A customer centric approach and strong customer service skills
Experience with MS Teams, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Highly motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst having attention to detail
Experience gained in service environment
Team player, collaborative with excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
