Job Description
We are excited to announce a rare opportunity for a Head of HR Business Partnering to join us, here at Experian.
As The Head of HR Business Partnering, you will own the strategic partnership with the UK Executive team and have a broad view across the organisation – acting as the voice of the business into the HR Function to continually enhance our people agenda. The role holder creates, leads and executes against a consistent people plan, which all Business Units (BUs) use as their framework. The People Strategy is an integral part of the Business Strategy and our ability to realise our strategic intents and accelerate growth.
The Head of HR Business Partners, leads a team of 7 Strategic HR Business Partners and one Senior Programme Manager in the provision of innovative, creative and customer led solutions that drive strategic growth for the UKI Region.
The UKI is embarking on a significant business change programme. The adoption and implementation of future technologies will need new technical skills and methodologies to develop and support our Products, Data processes, Services and Infrastructure. We will need to invest in new skills and workforce training to successfully execute the transformation, whilst also ensuring we create a sustainable operating model for the future. The Head of HR Business Partnering leads the strategic workforce planning programme which enables the people transformation, you will be accountable for driving significant headcount growth through our offshore locations through a targeted strategy and then responsible for providing an innovative HR strategy to drive double digit growth across all locations. Additionally, the role holder maintains and governs the organisational blueprint, and is responsible for the assurance of major organisational design and changes across the UKI business including M&A integration.
As the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will play a critical role around the HR Leadership table. Ensuring the voice of the customers is front and centre of discussions. In partnership with colleagues, you will be accountable for increasing workforce capability and capacity, driving high performance, providing change leadership, whilst leading and driving the strategic talent management/succession agenda.
Key responsibilities..
As a member of the UK&I HRLT, you will lead, develop and contribute to the formulation and execution of the HR strategic plan and the annual people plan in context of the UK&I business agenda and the Global HR people plan
Contribute, design and lead aspects of the Global HR People Plan i.e. Strategic Workforce Planning and be a key SME in the ideation of the Strategic Focus areas, globally.
Understand the external competitive environment and legal landscape to shape and develop business area people agendas aligned to business strategy
Coach senior leaders and HR colleagues on M&A, talent, engagement, change management and employment matters
Partner with the Business Units and Functional exec to devise People strategies that propel the business forward aligning to both the business strategic plan and the UKI HR Strategic Plan. This will include developing the regional People Strategy for Hyderabad as a catalyst for our regional growth.
Lead the end-to-end talent management process, from strategic workforce planning, supporting the business in hiring talent, on-boarding, identifying talent internally and succession planning to facilitating talent and succession planning discussions and supporting the construction and implementation of development plans and initiatives.
Champion a high-performance culture, with strategies in the business area to strengthen and embed throughout the organisation
Translate key data into an effective and commercially focused HR and People strategy
Lead the people transformation stream of the business change programme, including embedding the operating model and strategic workforce planning, to ensure the business is set up for rapid growth and acceleration, whilst creating sustainable operating model underpinned by robust location and talent strategy.
Has a continuous focus on the employee and candidate experience across all of the processes, initiatives and ways of working
Champion a culture of collaboration, customer obsession and innovation as well as ensuring the fair treatment of employees.
Leads and transforms retention and effective focused development is facilitated for our high potential employees
Work in partnership with the Reward team to ensure delivery of an appropriate reward strategy (agitating for progressive transformation in our approach to an ever-competing landscape), encompassing salary, bonus, LTIPs and other benefits to support the business units.
Utilise the engagement survey insights to drive and transform activity that is aligned, cohesive and impactful to creating a great place to work.
Leads the annual processes in an organised, diligent manner to ensure the right outcomes for the business and employees

Lead Elevate performance to deliver performance from people through effective performance management, actively recognising good performance and ensuring that all team members have stretching personal objectives and regular performance feedback.
Develop and implement talent management and succession plans to identify and develop high potential employees, and ensure an available talent pipeline to meet business and capability requirements
Have a global mind-set and is culturally adept and agile
Be ready and able to transform the business, originate action and be responsible for the consequences of the decisions made.
Be experienced in adopting Agile ways of working into HR processes.
