Job Description
An exciting opportunity to join us, hybrid-based in Experian’s Corporate office (Victoria, London), this role is in the Global Corporate HR function, reporting to the Group Reward Director.
This role will be a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities will include;
Supporting the Group Reward Director in the delivery of the executive compensation cycle (i.e. salary review, bonus and long-term incentive awards) for a small Executive population globally (Experian’s Group Operating Committee), sourcing and analysing appropriate market data
Preparation of Remuneration Committee papers, in line with the Board timetable, to ensure we provide a high-quality service to the Committee
Ownership of the Directors’ Remuneration Report, producing the report in accordance with the annual report timetable, building on previous disclosure in line with emerging best practice and ensuring audit sign off
Owning and managing the timetable for the Senior Leader reward cycle ensuring agreement of the regional reward teams. Collation of data for the annual salary review, annual bonus and LTIP recommendations for Senior Leaders to obtain CEO sign off within required timelines
Supporting the shareholder consultation process and AGM cycle from a reward perspective
Proactively owning the executive share plans on behalf of the Global Reward team, working with Company Secretariat to ensure grants, vestings and ongoing administration is delivered to a high standard
Acting as the in-house expert on Experian’s share plans, providing advice and support to regional reward teams in respect of these
Running the annual launch and maturity of the Sharesave plan (operating in c24 countries) in conjunction with our administrator and local reward and HR teams
Operating the non-executive director payroll (with our provider) on monthly/quarterly basis accurately and meeting deadlines for payment. In conjunction with Corporate Secretariat and our tax provider ensure relevant tax documentation is in place for the directors at all times
Attending the monthly Global Reward Council meetings, and pro-actively work with the regional reward teams to progress the alignment of reward practices and processes
Qualifications
This role would suit someone with extensive Executive Compensation experience gained at a global consulting firm or in-house. The ideal candidate would:
Have extensive knowledge of the operation of share plans and of the Corporate Governance environment in the UK
Have strong project management skills and demonstrate excellent abilities in planning & organising.
Be accurate with excellent attention to detail
Be client focused and commercially aware
Have strong influencing, networking and relationship building skills with ability to navigate a globally matrixed organisation
