Job Description
Here at Experian, we’re excited to announce a great career opportunity for an Employee Relations Consultant. You will play a key role as a member of the team with an emphasis on supporting managers with employee relations issues including management of probation, capability, conduct and attendance as well as supporting small change projects and taking the lead on specific aspects of governance and policy. The Employee Relations & Governance team are a highly valued, integral function that supports the business to deliver a high performance culture, whilst ensuring we are not only legally compliant, but that our people are treated with respect and dignity.

The ER Consultants partner with defined business areas and provides employment, and policy advice and support to ensure that the people, employment and legal risks are managed effectively. The role holder will partner with the HRBPs and business managers and will support employment implications of business change
The role holder will manage process improvement and policy change projects and support wider business change as part of a small team of ER experts.
Key areas of responsibility include..
Holding Employee Relations surgeries with line managers providing advice and guidance to support management of people processes including capability, probation, attendance etc.
Managing ER cases of all case types across the UK&I business ensuring process is followed, managers are supported and colleagues are treated fairly and consistently.
Manages employee DSAR requests ensuring processes are followed and colleagues receive the relevant information within established timeframes.
Identifying manager capability needs and develops and delivers appropriate interventions to enable managers to manage their people effectively and to comply with core HR processes
Leading small change projects which may result in down-sizing and, restructuring. Supporting colleagues with management of medium to large change projects including unique and pooled redundancy projects from start to finish, including coaching and advising managers on approaches to take, identify and effectively manage risk to ensure the successful delivery of business changes within agreed timescales, supports consultation, provides documentation and delivers necessary training to managers
Liaising with ACAS on early conciliation for own cases.
Conducting Protected and without prejudice conversations for own cases as required.
Conducting policy reviews to ensure they are aligned with business strategy and are legally compliant
Managing process improvement projects to ensure we are continuously improving, effective and adding maximum value.
Qualifications
We’re ideally looking for someone with broad generalist experience gained in a complex, matrix environment with a good experience of case management.
You’ll have project management experience, and ideally have experience in process improvement and good communication skills.
CIPD qualification is desirable.
