This role is integral to the ER department, often providing first line support to managers and employees. Working alongside colleagues providing a solid foundation of support ensuring all administrative tasks are completed in detail and accurately. Providing a first class service for talent acquisition utilising all the tools available internally and externally.
Job Description
Employee Relations:
Providing first line support to line managers and employees on ER administration
Ensuing all files are maintained in a timely and accurate manner and always ready for an audit by UK ER Manger or any regulatory bodies
Checking and updating managers on reference progress and confirming start dates when file is complete
Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed for new starters including right to work
Updating the HR database, assisting employees with password resets for holidays, timesheets checking for export to payroll
Assisting managers with probation reminders making sure all relevant paperwork is complete and update relevant systems and people.
Write and issue letters to employees for any changes.
Provide references for those requested to the relevant company
Benefit administration such as issuing new joiner paperwork and monthly updates (Pension, Private Medical Insurance, Bike to Work, Eye tests, New baby gifts)
Receive all Service Awards and send out to branches
Talent Acquisition
Liaising with ER representatives and complying a list of all vacancies within the UK. Ensuring this list is always maintained and current
Working with the UK ER Manager to develop a PSL, working with Legal Counsel and Compliance to read and sign all agency TOB’s
Sourcing candidates via various means such as linkedin, job boards and smart recruiters
Increasing our social media presence to attract the best talent
Working with managers and developing new recruitment initiatives
Increasing awareness of the Apprenticeship scheme and utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy
Qualifications
Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified although not essential
Experience of working within a HR admin role and understanding the fundamentals
Experience of talent acquisition and sourcing candidates from various platforms
