Marketing Manager (Contract)
Elsternwick / Office Based / 20-24 hrs pw (flexible days/hours)
About the role:
One of our clients has an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to lead Marketing & Ecommerce and to drive national sales growth, both B2B and B2C.
You will be strategic with the skills to develop plans and implement to grow and enhance across brand, online presence, B2B engagement, website traffic, conversion rate, revenue and engagement. You will be a creative thinker, who is analytical and understands how to grow engagement and drive sales across a multi-disciplined business. Your experience working with B2B marketing, online and social media platforms in a wholesale/retail discipline will benefit.
You will have experience in the Ecommerce landscape, especially Shopify, and monitor the industry for trends that can be implemented to support our growth.

More about the role:
· To develop and implement B2B content and marketing strategies, tailored to the retailers and categories and targeting the relevant buying seasons.
· To plan out a rolling 12-month calendar of B2B marketing initiatives, ensuring all retail customers are aware and informed of upcoming product launches and opportunities.
· To develop and optimise a content strategy that is relevant and engaging for both consumers and retailers yet planned and edited for retailers first given the advanced buying seasons.
· To grow new B2C audiences and build brand awareness that drives traffic then retarget to optimise conversion through Ecommerce.
· To analyse and present data-backed s on effectiveness of all strategies across search and social, both organic and paid and edm, to the Directors both in a test and trial capacity and for quarterly review and implementation.
· To ensure that all marketing materials align with our brand position, voice, and image.
· To grow social engagement and positive brand sentiment through effective content.
· To develop Digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and improve ROAS, including always on programmatic media across SEM and SMM, organic content for SEO and social, and promotional cadence for social and edms.
The ideal candidate ticks these boxes:
· 2+ years’ experience in eCommerce and digital marketing, specifically Shopify
· Strong experience and knowledge of all Social Channels including Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin, Google Ads, Google Analytics & Facebook Ads
· Hands-on experience with email marketing and content creation using Klaviyo,
content for organic SEO, and knowledge of how to maximise the entire digital landscape
· A self-starter with an innate desire to drive growth and improvement
· Can both collaborate with a team and work independently.
· Highly organized and analytical
· Customer centric with retail/wholesale experience.
