Exeter Hospital has an opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager. The role will be responsible for Developing and executing shortterm and longrange strategies to attract and retain top talent at Exeter Health Resources and affiliates. The individual will be responsible for the recruitment process from design to implementation to ensure rhythmic flow of the recruitment process. Partners with hiring managers to understand business needs and position expectations to hire the right fit talent for the organization. Leverages resources to achieve the effective sourcing, branding and attraction, screening and selection and hiring and onboarding of highquality, diverse talent across the organization. Key responsibilities also include partnering with talent acquisition leadership to organize, analyze and report on staffing activity metrics or new program features and implement best practices in talent acquisition.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 5 years of healthcare recruitment or related experience is required.
- 2 years (of the 5 total) – Progressively more responsible leadership experience or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment is preferred.
- Prior experience using an applicant tracking system is required.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
- Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) – Healthcare or related recruitment certification required or obtained within one year of hire is required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) is preferred
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is preferred
- Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is preferred
- Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) is preferred
- Certified Healthcare Recruiter (CHCR) is preferred

Major Responsibilities:
- In partnership with HR leadership, assists with leadership and management of the Talent Acquisition function, including processes, programs, and projects. Develops and implements recruitment strategies, procedures and tactics to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Serves as the point of contact for managers on talent acquisition questions and needs.
- Directly supervises talent acquisition staff, including the supervision of the team’s performance and productivity.
- Tracks critical key talent acquisition metrics and develops action steps for improvement.
- Partners with recruitment marketing team to help research and determine the best recruitment advertising and marketing efforts. Partners with sourcing to create workforce planning strategies.
- Advises, educates and trains hiring managers on interviewing best practices and techniques.
- Conducts job interviews and recruits for open positions as needed to assist with open requisition volumes.
- Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations, especially in the area of employment law pertinent to the talent acquisition function.
- Coordinates with business partners, sourcing and other HR and operations partners to forecast future hiring needs.
- Oversees the team is utilizing technology tools to facilitate recruiting, hiring and pre-boarding processes. Ensures that information is entered, maintained, current and accurate in the Applicant Tracking System including but not limited to: job posting content, candidate tracking, anecdotal information and other required data.
