Exceptional Care are looking for Bank staff to help across out 5 care homes around the North West of England. We work with Children aged between 8-17 years old with complex needs.

• Bank Work – Southport, St Helens, Skelmersdale, Preston and Ormskirk
• £9.61 an hour and s£46.25 per sleep
• Great in house training provided

We are looking for experienced residential child care workers who want a bit of flexibility and variety to their working life. You will need your level 3 in child care, a full driving licence, previously 12 months experience within residential child care and experience dealing with children with emotional and behavioural disorders

Providing individualised day to day support with the young people, promoting personal care, working in line with care plans, and ensuring the care, education and welfare of the young people at all times. Alongside the day to day duties, you will also be supporting our young People with building social skills, independent living and self-regulation / management of behaviours.

The ideal person for this role will have a positive attitude towards working with young people, love outdoor and activity working, have a flexible approach to their work (as they could be working several days at a time), and have an understanding of the needs of young people, together with the ability to deal with challenging situations with compassion and an understanding of the behaviours being displayed.

Experience:

• Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce (preferred)
• Driving License (preferred)
