Work closely with Senior Accountant to maintain accounting procedures, enter transactional data, and confirm financial compliance through preparation of reports and statements.
Responsibilities:
- Enter financial transactions, including but not limited to, purchase orders, vendor invoices, payroll, journal entries, expense reports, and corporate credit card receipts.
- Maintain consistent files and track monthly internal controls.
- Assist in running weekly job cost and open payables reports.
- Complete monthly reports and bank account reconciliations.
- Assist Senior Accountant in responding to transactional inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 2-year degree in finance and/or 1 year of experience in accounting required.
· Experience with job cost, project management, or property management accounting is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
