EVstudio Hiring for Electrical Engineer at Denver, CO Full Time

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience and the following qualifications:

• PE License REQUIRED
• Revit electrical construction document production experience a plus
• NEC load calculations for various building types
• Knowledge of electrical wiring methods and requirements for various building types
• Electrical service and distribution equipment and specifications for various building types
• Xcel spreadsheet experience and electrical schedules (i.e. panels, distribution boards, LCP, luminaires, etc.)
• Lighting design and photometric analysis software (i.e. Visual, AGi32, etc.)
• Lighting compliance software (i.e. COMcheck, ASHRAE 90.1, etc.)
• Short circuit calculations, coordination studies, arc-flash analysis
• An understanding of M/E/P systems for various building types
• Knowledge of applicable model Codes and local amendments (i.e. NEC/IBC/IFC/IECC/NFPA/DBCA, etc.)
• Multi-family project experience (i.e. Apartments, Townhomes, Condominiums, etc.)
• Mixed-use project experience (i.e. Commercial/Residential/Live/Work, etc.)
• Commercial project experience (i.e. Retail, Office, Medical Office, Dental, Office/Warehouse, etc.)
• Residential project experience (i.e. Large Custom Homes, Duplexes, etc.)
• Construction Administration experience a plus (i.e. submittal review, RFI’s, Change Orders, etc.)
• Field Inspection and summary experience a plus
• FE/EIT status a plus
• NCEES Record Holder a plus
• Knowledge of electrical construction and field experience (jobsite, contracting, etc.) a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• Solid work history and experience in electrical construction and design document production
• Ability to work with architects and contractors in a professional manner
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new ideas and methods and to endeavor to improve and educate yourself on a continuing basis
• Degree in electrical or architectural engineering preferred
• Revit experience

Pay: $75,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
