Evri Hiring for Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technology Job at Morley, England Full Time

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our high performing Talent Acquisition team who will be responsible for sourcing top talent for our IT department.

Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be a point of contact for candidates, providing appropriate updates and communication on the progress of their application, keeping them ‘warm’ and ensuring a good understanding of what the role entails and what to expect.

Working with the team to identify current and future hiring needs, you will be responsible for ensuring that the job description and adverts capture the role requirements, ensuring all candidates receive an excellent candidate experience regardless of the outcome of their application and providing updates and feedback at all stages of their journey with Evri. Supporting the onboarding process, you will also be responsible for ensuring that the recruitment systems are continuously and accurately updated.

Your Responsibilities

• Partnering with hiring managers and the HR Business Partner, integrating yourself into your business area(s) to identify current and future hiring needs, understand skills required for each position, ensure job descriptions and adverts capture role requirements and a hiring plan is agreed
• Proactively design and implement innovative recruiting strategies/campaigns, in collaboration with the Head of Talent Acquisition, and Brand Team, adopting a modern, solution orientated and effective approach to promoting the Evri brand and culture for the attraction of high calibre talent against ongoing requirements
• Liaising with the Senior Executive Search Specialist on senior or hard-to-fill requirements in your business area to facilitate and enable the development of proactive talent pipelines aligned to business requirements
• Ensuring all candidates receive an excellent candidate experience, regardless of the outcome of their application, providing updates and feedback at all stages of their journey with Evri
• Engaging with and managing the relationship with external suppliers working on recruitment activity, ensuring they are ambassadors of the Evri brand, working as an extension of our Talent Acquisition Team, providing best standards of delivery and the highest quality of candidates
• Creating and standardising interview documents/selection tools and the facilitation, delivery and evaluation of selection events/assessment centres, including supporting those across other business areas to cover peak volume requirements as and when required.
• Being a Subject Matter Expert for your business area(s) by building knowledge of competitor activity and practices, salary information, industry insight, regulatory developments and trends etc
• Attending external recruitment and sector related conferences, webinars and networking events to identify initiatives for continuous improvement of the Evri recruitment process and self-development opportunities
• Providing regular and ad-hoc MI reports for key stakeholders to help plan recruitment more efficiently for the purposes of headcount, performance analysis, activity etc
• Delivering recruitment and evaluation training to hiring managers and assessors as required, including training in our ATS, promoting a best practice recruiting culture and legally compliant process
• Establishing relationships with colleges, universities, professional bodies and industry partners, attending Open Days and relevant recruitment events and job fairs to promote the Evri brand and network with and identify potential candidates
• Building a strong working partnership with peer Talent Acquisition Specialist across other areas of the business to promote the sharing of best practice and developing a one team culture
• Working to agreed recruitment Key Performance Indicators; Cost Per Hire, Time to Hire, Quality of Hire, Campaign Fulfilment etc.
• Working on projects as identified through the Recruitment Strategy in support of key business objectives and deliverables
• Supporting the onboarding process, ensuring recruitment systems continuously accurately updated, and all new starter packs are complete and shared with the HR Administration and Security Vetting Teams in a timely manner

Your Experience

Does this sound like you?

• Previous experience in a similar role either agency or in-house
• Demonstrable experience working as an effective business partner and delivering a high calibre talent acquisition service in a fast-paced business
• Demonstrable experience of effective planning and leading large and professional recruitment campaigns with demanding timescales (Operations)
• A demonstrable keen networker with a thirst for knowledge and an ability to influence key stakeholders using specialist knowledge gained through market insights and research, driving continuous improvement activities
• A strong understanding of the impact of a great candidate experience and having delivered this directly and via your stakeholders
• Good working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and MI tools
• Excellent and up-to-date working knowledge of recruitment best practice, including processes and regulation
• Good understanding of direct sourcing tools and techniques and attraction methods with a focus on minimising cost and time per hire
• Good knowledge of Competency Based interviews and experience of creating relevant, engaging recruitment materials
• Logistics industry experience is advantageous but not essential
• Experience of working on large projects as a key contributor/lead (e.g. new openings)
• Working knowledge of Recruitment campaigns and social media
• Ability to create assessment materials and criteria that assess technical and cultural fit that is in line with current legislation
• Coaching skills able to adapt approach depending on your audience
