Summary

The Company has been established for 17 years and works in the Tele-communications sector. This covers GDPR Compliant Guest Wi-Fi, SD WAN Networks, Managed Wi-Fi/LAN Infrastructure, Broadband / Leased Lines, Network Security, PCI Consultancy and structured cabling.

The Company is experiencing sustained growth and the Software Developer role is to provide continuous improvements and new features to the Company’s internal systems, bespoke service software and existing customer systems

This role will be responsible for working as part of the expanding team to continuously create and improve new and existing functionality within both company systems and existing customer software. It will require the ability to work alongside a close team and also work independently at times.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Salary

Salary is between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience.

Key Objective, Principal Responsibilities & Accountabilities

With guidance and support from the Development Director within the Business:

· Maintaining and Bug-fixing existing internal/service-led systems

· Working on new functionality to improve internal business functions

· Ensuring project deadlines are met.

· Willing to learn and take on new responsibility to accommodate the business needs.

· Able to organise / maintain your own tasks and responsibilities within the role.

· Following procedures put in place to maintain ISO standards.

Qualifications

· GCSE’s Grade A* – C

· Maths, English and ICT skills and experience with Word and Excel

· UK Diving Licence (preferred)

Skills & Experience

· Strong experience working with ASP.NET C#

· Strong experience working with SQL Server

· Understand of APIs, JSON/XML etc

· Experience with GCP (preferred)

· Good attention to detail

· Logical thinker

· Positive attitude

· Works well within a team

· Organised and able to prioritise tasks

· Must be committed and willing to learn

· Enthusiastic and Self-Motivated
