Evolution Windows is a growing business established 24 years ago, 2 manufacturing sites, manufacturing and supplying standard and custom made Timber and Aluminium windows and doors to commercial projects and high-end domestic markets in Sydney and greater Sydney areas. Family owned employing 65 full time staff.

The Role

The Finance Manager / Senior Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the accounting function managing a small team of 2. The applicant will identify and implement systems, polices and processes aligned to both legislative and company requirements to improve financial monitoring, ensure accountability and compliance. The successful candidate shall be responsible for supporting the Leadership Team by offering insights and financial advice that will enable and support business decisions for the company.

The Opportunity: FINANCE MANAGER / SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

• Financial management and accounting of the organisation is developed and executed in such a way as to maintain financial sustainability.
• Undertake Weekly Payroll processing and related payroll reporting
• Collecting, interpreting and reviewing financial information for all required reporting periods
• Submit tax returns such as BAS, FBT, GST and liaise with external accountant
• Completing financial audits, insurance reviews monthly and quarterly financial compliance reporting
• Asset management
• Producing financial reports related to budgets, statistics, account payables, account receivables, expenses, cashflows etc.
• Creating, reviewing, monitoring, budgets
• Developing strategies that work to minimise financial risk
• Accountability for payroll and assets
• Liaising with management understanding performance variances
• Providing financial subject matter expertise and advice on business decisions
• Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero

The Successful Candidate

• A solid and strong working knowledge of accounting standards
• Excellent computer skills, accounting software and spread sheets
• Professional attitude and dedication to excellence and accuracy in information presentation
• High level of numeric and superior computing skills
• Be self-motivated and a committed team player
• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Software and MS Excel
• Demonstrated experience in managing a organisation’s accounting, tax and statutory compliance requirements
• A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data

Remuneration

Salary: $ 90,000 – 110,000.00 per year TRP.
